Alasdair Greig - Rhinoplasty Surgery Testimonial
Video taken at 6 months post-op
My name is Alasdair Greig. I live in Phoenix, Arizona – Gilbert, to be specific, and I had a rhinoplasty (a nose job). I had my surgery performed in Mexico, in Puerto Vallarta with Dr. Ceballos in CMQ Hospital.
I looked around for surgeons locally – there’s certainly no shortage of plastic surgeons in the Scottsdale area. I looked at pricing at that point and looked at various other options and became aware of the MedToGo option through my relationship with the Page Family Practice. I did some price comparisons. There were significant advantages to the price, so I researched it in more detail and became comfortable over time with the option. The experience was fun, it was great; I converted it into a semi-vacation. I was able to stay down there for 8 days for recovery time. It still cost less money than staying locally here. The experience at the hospital was great; they were fantastic and took good care of me. I felt very comfortable there. It was a small, private hospital.
Dr. Ceballos was great; very good English, no problems understanding each other, so I felt very comfortable with him, and it was a good experience all around, pretty good experience.
I didn’t expect the recovery to be particularly difficult with a nose job. Obviously it depends somewhat on whether you have to fracture the nose or not. He did in my case, so I had a little bit of swelling for a couple of days, some discomfort breathing, but apart from that, you take the basic medications provided and you’re fine. There was no problem. It was a good experience; it didn’t take too long to get up and about. I took a few trips, some hiking, shooting pictures after a few days and enjoying my time down there. All in all I’d feel comfortable recommending it to anyone who wants to explore that option.

My husband and I are planning to do as much medically in Mexico as we can. We already do all our dental work in Mexico. In my opinion, medical tourism can only grow in the future in response to a horribly expensive American health care system which is broken in many ways. I will enthusiastically recommend MedToGo to my friends and family. Thank you.» read more
